It s a consistent album from start to finish with beautiful arrangements and great instrumental. The album originally released in 1989 brings a repertoire of quality where we highlight pictures of you lullaby disintegration and untitled. I bought the album on vinyl in 89 and was pleased. So i just had to pick up the record and vinyl records have a warmer sound to them being that they are analog vs digital recordings.

Regarding vinyl or cd for disintegration i really don t know i haven t compared the two together it seems a difficult task to do. Over 1 hour of the cure featuring fascination street direct metal mastering this music has been mixed to be played loud so turn it up. This cd is among the best of the cure. The album is crisp and clean.

Disintegration is a great album of course but my one star rating here is for the lousy quality of the vinyl. But truly this isn t even my favourite cure album. I own all of the cure on cd including the deluxe box sets but as they say vinyl is king. The cure disintegration is a similar version pressed at specialty records corporation as indicated by e a s t embossed in the outer edge of the b side pressing ring and sp etched in the runouts.
