The blue nile are reissuing three of their albums as very limited vinyl pressings in november. To complete the reissue programme of the band s catalogue of master album recordings during the past three months the blue nile have been working alongside long term producer engineer partner calum malcolm to remaster the nine track album high in addition to mastering four new songs plus two extended album track remixes. 1984 s a walk across the rooftops remains unique in its fusion of chilly technology and a pitch of confessional romantic soul that alternative types would usually shy away from for fear it wasn t cool.
